Recently, there was a trend of gluing yarn or lace over your face and applying makeup on top. I've seen a few videos on Instagram of these unique tutorials. I thought it was quite innovative and just had to share. This is an example of the yarn and here is of the lace . Now that you've watched them both, let's quickly go into some techniques I would use to make these looks.  Notice how they use powder  products instead of liquid or cream on top of the fabric. The latter could bleed through the fabric, latch onto the specific spot where it was applied and end up looking blotchy.  It's not to say it's forbidden to use them, simply that it will make application more difficult. If it's nothing more than a thin line your trying to draw there's no problem with using liquids/creams.
